If you know someone who is around 40 years old, or if you're around 40, I hope you've at least tried to make your life a statement of your originality or, at the very least, you've done something in the past couple of years to help yourself feel free and new and a little different than your normal routine.
Why? It's Uranus, it's come for you! The planet Uranus takes approximately 40 years to go around the solar system and when it comes back to the degree of the zodiac that it was on at the time of your birth, watch out if you haven't done what I was banging on about above.
If you have made an effort to free yourself from the restrictions you've placed upon yourself - if you are lucky enough to live in a country that allows you to do so - then Uranus will bless you and help you (symbolically of course) so that you will feel renewed and refreshed and ready to get on with the "older" part of your existence. Forty is the old age of youth, as Victor Hugo said, but it can be a lot of fun, too.
If you have been resisting change then Uranus will also help you, but not in the best way. It will do so in its inimitable throw-the-baby-out-with-the-bathwater style and you and those around you won't like it. These are the people who quit their jobs, bust up their marriages, date people who are not age or otherwise appropriate, buy the mid-life crisis red sports car and/or motorcycle, and otherwise royally fuck up your life and the lives of those you supposedly care(d) about.
So if you want your life to run smoothly or to put it more precisely to NOT run smoothly but run interestingly, get yourself onto the side of Uranus. If you're on your way to being 40 or 80, you have An Appointment in Samara with Uranus (Google it!)
